
Richard Neidhardt
Richard Neidhardt lives and works in Sherman, Texas. He received his B.A. with honors from the University of Tennessee; his M.F.A. in painting from the University of Florida, and his Ph.D. from Ohio State University.He was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to study painting at Rijksacademie in Amsterdam. He received additional grants for studies in France, Egypt, and Greece. For 20 years he was professor and art department chair for Austin College in Sherman, TX where he currently serves as Professor Emeritus. Even with his academic responsibilities, he has been active regionally and nationally in invitational exhibitions. In 2002, Dr. Neidhardt will be 81 years old, and he is in the midst of a solo exhibition at the Grace Museum in Abilene, TX and a group show in Houston. Richard Neidhardt is represented by
