Clock Rider

From the artist:

"Modern human beings are born by the clock and die by the clock. Our existence is directed by the clock as it tells us when we are, not where we are, but sometimes, by consultation, it tells us how we are. The clock of our mind and the clock on the wall do not always agree. In our minds, some hours seem to fly by, whereas others creep slowly, while the hours of the clock are relentlessly stable and undeniable. Yet we simply hang on, knowing that time is a mysterious relativity that, through a mistaken illusion, moves the sun, the moon, the stars and us through a language of temporal moments. Perhaps time has a sense of humor and enjoys playing with us."
